La Cueva de las Manos
Posted by admin on June 21st, 2008 filed in UncategorizedLa Cueva de las Manos es un lugar arqueológico donde hay pinturas rupestres dentro de de una cueva al oeste de la provincia de Santa Cruz, en Argentina. Ha sido nombrada Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO.
Estas pinturas tienen una gran antigüedad y se preservan muy bien. Se estima que fueron hechas 7350 años antes de Cristo.
Las pinturas consisten en muchas imágenes de manos plasmadas sobre las paredes de la cueva. Están pintadas con distintos tonos y colores.
Cerca de allí, en Los Toldos también hay asentamientos arqueológicos parecidos. Se cree que laspinturas tienen más de 12000 años.
